Procrastination solved:

Chapter 2 of 3: Understanding the root of procrastination

I hope you will be able to read this chapter completely, because it will provide you with a crucial piece of puzzle you were missing.

So, here’s what happens in your head:

  1. When you watch a motivational material or think about goal you would like to achieve, you feel motivated and decided to take action.

  2. But when it’s time for action, a lot of different thoughts begin emerging. Thoughts like:

“This task will take an eternity”
“I don’t know where to begin”
“I would like to do something less boring”
“I have so many other things to do.”

  3. These thoughts then produce different negative feelings which you experience as a general feeling of discomfort.

  4. When discomfort strikes, the easiest escape is often a scroll through social media. While it offers a quick fix, yet another day goes to waste.

As you can see, problems begin when thoughts begin to emerge. If there were no thoughts, there would be no feeling of discomfort and no desire to run away from it by scrolling social media.

In final chapter I teach you a simple mind trick to deal with thoughts.
