Your brain energy comes from food you eat. But just food in your brain cells is not enough. Food is just the fuel. Fuel becomes energy when you burn it.

To burn anything, you need OXYGEN. You can instantly rise levels of your brain energy by adding oxygen to your organism. Of course it also helps if you eat healthy so fuel is of better quality (will burn better).

There are 2 quick ways of rising level of oxygen in your brain:

  1. You take 10-30 really slow and deep breaths. You might get a bit dizzy for few moments, but that is ok, it only means you received more oxygen which will turn nutrients in your brain into energy.

  2. You rise your heart rate. The faster your blood is circulating to your brain, more oxygen is transported to your brain cells. You can do short excercise in your flat, or even better go for a short walk/run outside.
